Charlie Panfil is a Public Policy Associate with The Daschle Group, A Public Policy Advisory of Baker Donelson. He works with The Daschle Group’s corporate and nonprofit clients on critical minerals, public health, cybersecurity, and cannabis matters. Charlie also leads research projects, provides strategic social media advice, tracks upcoming elections, and manages TDG’s internship program.
In addition to his work with TDG, Charlie serves in other roles throughout DC. He is the youngest member of the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund National Campaign Board where he helps elect more LGBTQ+ legislators at all levels of government. In 2017, Charlie founded one of the first Gen Z political action committees called Friends of Intelligent Democracy which registered young people to vote and helped elect Democrats across the country that support Gen Z policies. Charlie is also a member of Q Street, the professional association of LGBTQ lobbyists and public policy advocates, the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics (NILE), and the Advocacy Association.
Charlie lives in Washington, DC, and spends his time cooking, painting, and working out.
