Charlie Panfil is a Public Policy Advisor with The Daschle Group, A Public Policy Advisory of Baker Donelson. He works with The Daschle Group’s corporate and nonprofit clients on public health & biodefense, data privacy & consumer technology, cannabis, psychedelic medicine, veterans’ mental health, and critical minerals policy matters. Charlie’s work with clients includes developing lobbying strategies, drafting policy priorities, managing fly-ins, curating large policy events, gathering political intelligence, managing social media, coalition management, and legislative & regulatory research. Charlie also tracks upcoming elections and manages TDG’s internship program.
In addition to his work with TDG, Charlie serves in other roles throughout DC. In 2020, he was the youngest person to become a member of the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund National Campaign Board where he helps elect more LGBTQ+ legislators at all levels of government. In 2023, he was appointed to serve as Co-Chair of the Board’s Fundraising Committee. Between 2017 and 2021, Charlie founded and led Friends of Intelligent Democracy PAC, one of the first Gen Z PACs that helped register young people to vote and elect Democrats across the country. Charlie is also a member of Q Street, the professional association of LGBTQ+ lobbyists & public policy advocates, the Advocacy Association, and the Government Relations Association.
