November 17th, 2021 (Washington, DC) – Today, the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics (NILE) named Tiffani V. Williams, Senior Vice President at The Daschle Group, as a Top Lobbyist in 2021. Tiffani was selected amongst nominees from across the country and the lobbying, PAC management, and grassroots organizing industries. According to NILE, nominees are chosen through a blind judgement process based on four criteria:
1. Saw significant legislative success in 2021,
2. Were innovative in their field or policy area during 2021,
3. Are held in high regard by their clients and peers, and
4. Are individuals who give back to their community through charity or pro bono work.
Tiffani exemplifies these criteria every day through her advocacy work to introduce legislation to help patients manage diabetes, work with other advocates to secure funding for community health centers in the American Rescue Plan and Build Back Better Act, and help lead the biofuels industry in their engagement with the Department of Transportation and the Environmental Protection Agency on greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to being a mentor to The Daschle Group’s intern team, Tiffani also serves as a mentor to law students and new lobbyists in the field. Tiffani also serves on the Corporate Advisory Council for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and on the Corporate Leadership Council for College to Congress where she focuses on supporting the next generation of public servants and policy leaders, particularly leaders of color.
