September 29th, 2021 (Washington, DC) – Last week marked the 25th new client signed by The Daschle Group since September 2020. The Daschle Group’s newest clients represent powerful stakeholders on health care, cybersecurity, human and civil rights, energy, education, and trade issues.
The Daschle Group’s health care team, led by Senior Vice Presidents Tiffani V. Williams and Niki Carelli, continue to represent companies bringing next-generation health care solutions to the market; organizations working to prepare for and prevent the next pandemic; and providers looking to address complex health care delivery, access, affordability, and equity challenges. Alongside Vice President Veronica Pollock, the health care team is also representing hospital systems, community health centers, and nursing homes across the United States hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vice Presidents Spencer Wolf and Joe Hack have been working with Project Hong Kong, a grassroots movement of Hong Kongers in the United States assisting the pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong by advocating for the Hong Kong Safe Harbor Act and other policies aimed at holding China accountable for their attack on freedom of speech, press, and assembly. With assistance from Public Policy Associate Charlie Panfil, Joe Hack also works with Freedom for All Americans, a bipartisan coalition of nonprofits, to advance non-discrimination legislation. Spencer, Joe, and Charlie have also started working with Broadcom and Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company on separate projects related to expanding access to high-speed Internet and improving the electric grid.
Over the last year, The Daschle Group team has continued to grow as well. In April 2021, former Chief of Staff to Sen. Deb Fischer (R-NE) Joe Hack joined the team, making The Daschle Group a bipartisan firm. In June 2021, Charlie Panfil joined The Daschle Group as a Public Policy Associate. The Daschle Group continues to develop the next generation of advocates through its diverse paid internship program that gives college juniors and seniors hands-on experience in the consulting and lobbying industry.
From Senator Tom A. Daschle, Founder & CEO:
“Our ability to attract so many new clients and retain longstanding ones is a testament to our team’s hard work, entrepreneurial spirit, and measured results. The Daschle Group’s diversity and wide-ranging expertise have enabled us to adapt nimbly to changes in the political environment and adjust the way we do business throughout the pandemic. And now, during a period of historic legislative activity, we look forward to continuing to advocate for thoughtful clients and achieve results on their behalf.”
From Nathan Daschle, President & COO:
“As our client list has grown, so has our team, with the additions of Joe Hack and Charlie Panfil to The Daschle Group family. Their new perspectives add to our team’s decades of experience on campaigns, Capitol Hill, and K Street. I echo Senator Daschle’s appreciation for both our clients, new and existing, and the amazing team that represents The Daschle Group. Our transformation over the last year makes me proud to continue our work in Washington whether on the Hill, in the White House, or throughout industry.”
